AFTERCARE

You may experience minor swelling and redness on a procedure day. There may be some minor redness and peeling during the first week. The color will appear intense, darker and more sharply defined immediately after the procedure until around day 4-6. As the healing progresses (day 5-6), the color and edges will soften. During the healing process, the treated area will exfoliate and shed taking some color with it. This is a normal process. The final color of the treated area will be visible after 3-4 weeks.

1.

In the first 24 hours please apply solution provided by technician every 2-3 hours to minimize scab buildup.

2.

Day 2 and 3 after the procedure keep brows as dry as possible. Avoid getting them wet.

3.

After two dry days wash your brows with mild soap and water, dry them by gently pressing with a tissue, and then apply pea size amount of cream provided by your technician with a tapping motion. Repeat above cleaning routine twice a day (morning and evening) for the next five days.

4.

Do not scratch, rub, peel, or pick at the treated area, this could cause pigment loss, scarring, and delayed healing or infection. Let any scabbing or flaking to exfoliate naturally on its own.

5.

Please be advised absolutely no water on the treated area on a day 2 and 3.

6.

Do not sweat profusely, exercise or exert yourself of any kind after the procedure for 1 week. The body heat expands the pores. Sweat is salt and will permanently fade, blur or cause the pigment not to take at all.

7.

Avoid sun for 2 weeks after the procedure.

8.

Do not use saunas, Jacuzzi or tanning beds while outer healing progresses. Please use sunblock after healing is completed, it will help to prevent premature fading.

9.

Do not swim in salt, or chlorinated water until the area is completely healed. Salt/water/chlorine will cause the pigments to fade or change in color. It is recommended to apply the Vaseline to the treated area/s before swimming (even after the healing process finished) to prevent the chlorine or saltwater from penetrating the area.

10.

Avoid hot, steamy, long showers and direct shower water on the treated area after the procedure for a week.

11.

Avoid sleeping on your face during the first 14 days after the procedure.

12.

Do not apply ANY makeup (including non-allergenic), lotions, pencils, powders etc.

13.

No HENNA on brows for 4 weeks after the procedure.

14.

Avoid scrubbing the treated area for at least one month. Do not rub your skin when washing your face for at least 7 days.

15.

Do not use laser hair removal or foto-facial too close to the pigmented area to avoid an accidental hit.

16.

Avoid environments that would cause a dirt or germs to contact area while healing.

17.

Only touch the treated areas with clean hands during the healing process.

18.

Avoid applying products with Retin-A on the pigmented area.
